New Home Design - North Kellyville
From the start, our farmhouse design captivated the clients and served as a source of inspiration for them. However, they eventually desired something more bespoke with modern touches which steered us into creating an entirely new style that ultimately became their perfect home.
The design was completed, 3D images were obtained and the clients were in love.

In less than 3 months RCK Design were able to not only custom design their new home in Kellyville, located in The Hills District of Sydney, but also achieve DA approval. Initially, the site had DA approval for a two storey residence from a project home builder, although the clients desired something that was larger and more personalised.
Their brief was to have bedrooms with their own ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, a master bedroom to the rear, large and spacious living areas for entertainment, an area for a pool and firepit, as well as a basement space for teenagers' retreat and workshop.
Contemporary Design
The design of the new building was modern contemporary with a focus on indoor/outdoor living. Featuring a bold contemporary style, the façade is enhanced with a mix of materials such as wide profile vertical cladding, natural form stone, steel window shrouds and both rendered and face brickwork.

The interior includes an open plan living and dining area featuring luxurious high ceilings and complete guest quarters downstairs, lift space and void area.

The first floor includes 4 bedrooms which are all airy, light-filled spaces with plenty of storage space. To ensure privacy within the home, each bedroom has its own ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. The first floor is completed with an upper lounge area overlooking the foyer.

The design boasts large living areas ideal for entertaining guests, having family movie nights or hosting backyard barbeques with a focal point of a large kitchen island with ample butlers and scullery space.
Building Design in Record Time
The building was designed with energy efficiency in mind, incorporating energy efficient materials and appliances throughout. The result is an impressive home that meets the clients' needs and exceeds their expectations.

Working together, the client and RCK Design team achieved success in a remarkably short period of time. Progressing from the initial meeting to final drawings and approval from The Hills Council through to construction drawings took just three months, highlighting the effectiveness of the collaboration between all parties involved.
